On the 28th and 29th of November 2016, EuroMed held a Conference on the topic of " Innovation & Postal Collaboration" which was held in Beirut-Lebanon, followed with the 7th General Assembly meeting.
During the General Assembly, the representatives of the twenty postal operators, members of Euromed Postal, met to discuss the important issues which the postal sector is currently facing. Moreover, they presented their best practices and innovative projects to implement the strategic plan of the organization that aims to guarantee better working conditions, social inclusion initiatives and the development of new business, including, but not limited to, the use of digital technology.
The event also hosted high-level representatives pertaining to PUMed Community, other postal organizations, specialized agencies, postal stakeholders and sponsors twhom seized the opportunity to debate the future of the Mediterranean’s postal services.
Furthermore, Spain was announced as the winner of the 2nd EuroMed Postal Innovation Award for its " Commandia Express" project!
