The Postal Union for the Mediterranean participated on Thursday July 9th 2020, represented by Mrs. Manale Azar, Secretary General , on a video conference organized by the UPU Directorate of Cooperation and Development for all the Restricted Unions of the UPU with the aim of facilitating exchanges and good practices and to present the first iteration of the "UPU Covid 19 Recovery Plan". This plan is intended to help all UPU member countries to mitigate the impact of this pandemic on the postal industry and ensure quick restoration of their postal services after the crisis. The inputs received from the RUs were very constructive and will be consolidated in the UPU Covid 19 Recovery Plan.
