UPU EmIS message : Türkiye Information on aid parcels/packages

On February 06, 2023, a devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred at 04:17 local time in Kahramanmaraş Pazarcık, Türkiye. About 9 hours after this earthquake, a second devastating earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 at 13:24 local time struck the same region.
Besides Kahramanmaraş, the provinces of Hatay, Adıyaman, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Malatya, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa have seriously suffered from these twin earthquakes. Approximately 15 million people in 11 provinces were directly affected.
For this reason, the designated operator of Türkiye, Turkish Post Corporation published a circular and two EMIS messages via Universal Postal Union, International Bureau.
