EuroMed Stamps
EUROPA stamps are special stamps issued by European postal administrations/enterprises and bears the official EUROPA logo, a PostEurop registered trademark under the aegis of PostEurop in which Europe is the central theme.
EUROPA stamps underlines cooperation in the posts domain, taking into account promotion of philately. They also build awareness of the common roots, culture and history of Europe and its common goals. As such, EUROPA stamp issues are among the most collected and most popular stamps in the world. Since the first issue in 1956, EUROPA stamps have been a tangible symbol of Europe’s desire for closer integration and cooperation. In 1993, PostEurop became responsible for issuing EUROPA stamps.
The Euromed Postal Joint stamp project is a commitment which is intended to be held annually.  The intention behind this idea was to keep on a similar project of the EUROPA Stamp, wherein a theme will be chosen and all member countries will submit their design. Each member will then be free to issue the design prepared by it.  This for the exception of the first stamp issued in 2014, where all members were obliged to have the same design.

Way back, a decision has been taken envisaged to take place between 2014 and 2019, details as follows:

-          2014 Theme chosen “The Mediterranean”

-          2015 Theme chosen “Boats used in the Mediterranean”

-          2016 Theme chosen “Fish in the Mediterranean”

-          2017 Theme chosen “Trees in the Mediterranean”

-          2018 Theme chosen  “Houses in the Mediterranean”

-          2019 Theme chosen “Costumes used in the Mediterranean”
